Student will improve their knowledge of the civil rights movement, the sacrifices of civil rights activist and the key events that help establish equal rights.

In relation to my teaching experience, I have tutored and taught civil rights movements classes and workshops to young learners and college students for over 5 years. The civil rights movement is imperative to students' awareness of America, the world, and our past and future society as a whole. To make students comfortable with this topic, I create a safe space and promote inclusivity in my classroom settings, so that learners can express their opinions and feelings about this sensitive topic.
