Can I use shampoo on my guinea pig? How do I clip my guinea pig's toenails? Do I need to brush my guinea pigs teeth? These are all questions students ask me over-and-over! This class is designed to take your student through the process of grooming their guinea pigs almost independently. When we finish, your student will know what tasks should be done weekly and monthly. They will also know which tools to use for easy grooming and how to reduce their piggy's stress if that's a problem. Your...
Students will learn: 1. How and when to clip their guinea pig's nails. 2. How to properly brush your guinea pig. 3. How and when to bathe your guinea pig. 4. What simple grooming tools you need to have in order to keep your piggy looking good!
A handout for notes will be provided upon registration. The handout will walk them through the process of creating a grooming routine for their guinea pig. This is not required, it is simply an available resource.
