Join me in this ongoing, once a week course, where students can learn exciting and fun facts about animals with their peers. Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians, Insects, oh my! Let's learn about all of the different groups of animals and some of the many different species. We will discuss each animals eating habits, behaviors, habitats, and so much more. In each class we will get to know a specific spotlight animal. We will learn interesting facts about the animal and have fun discussing it with each other. Students can tell the facts they already know or even bring their favorite facts or photos of the spotlight animal. We will also do various activities together such as, play animal related games, share facts with each other, and in some classes we will watch video clips or read articles to enhance our learning. Students do not need to have any prior knowledge to join in this class. We will be learning about a different animal in each class. Everyone is welcome to talk in class but it is not required. Listening is okay too! Week of December 25-31: Zebras Week of January 7-13: Squirrels Week of January 14-20: Cheetahs Week of January 21-27: Apes and Monkeys Week of January 28- February 3: Birds As a certified ESL teacher, I teach many different subjects to many different levels of student. Animal related content has always been my favorite thing to teach. There are so many different animals we share our world with. I am excited to explore many animals with your students.

Hello, my name is Ms. Tasha. I have many years of experience working with children in various classroom settings. With four years of experience working in a virtual classroom, I am confident that your learner will feel comfortable and excited to come to class. I also have a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, with a concentration in Psychology. I have completed many English and Writing courses throughout my college adventure as well. I am excited to share my love of reading and writing with your students.
I will be offering mostly reading and writing based classed geared toward all levels. My classes are designed to enhance reading skills. Learners will increase reading fluency and improve comprehension. As for writing courses, learners can gain valuable skills to develop their writing ability in many different genres. While I mostly focus on reading and writing skills, I also offer classes involving animals, Disney movies, dress up, and much more.
I believe that children retain most information if they can connect to the material they are learning about. I strive to create a upbeat, fun classroom where all students feel excepted and free to express themselves. Learning can be fun when taught in creative and exciting ways. All of my offered classes are designed to keep your learners engaged with activities. Learners also participate in discussions and gain instruction in a positive learning environment.
