課堂經歷
In this class we will discuss the difference between "conflict" and "negotiation." Also discussed will be ways to assert your needs and wants by using appropriate language and this includes body language. We will be discussing the ALLS Approach to negotiation: Atmosphere, Language, Listen and Solution. Each part of this negotiation strategy will be discussed at length and the students will be allowed and encouraged to provide their own examples in class so that they have real life scenarios...
Specifically, I want the students to know that this is a learned skill that needs to be practiced. I want the students to know that negotiation skills will be used throughout their lives in many situations. Mostly, however, I want the students to learn to become more "empathetic" while still being able to stand up for their own needs, and realize that getting what you want in life is a lot easier when everyone wins!
Not only have I taken in a course in conflict resolution, but I have many years of experience in sales and negotiation.
