Join us for a fun course that teaches children letters. Students will enjoy learning about letters as they participate in online activities, songs, finger plays, and interactive games. Each class will focus on one letter and review other letters. Students will learn: *Capital and lowercase letters *Consonant Letter sounds *Short vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u) *How to write each letter using lines and curves *Fun reminders on how to form letters *Phonemic awareness (hearing sounds within words) Each class will be different, but students should have easy access to the following supplies: *Paper *Crayons, markers, or pencils *Playdough *Provided printed materials (cut and prepared for class) Fall Schedule Week of September 5- Letters A & B Week of September 12- Letters C & D Week of September 19- Letters E & F Week of September 26- Letters G & H Week of October 3- Letters I & J Week of October 10- Letters K & L Week of October 17- Letters M & N Week of October 24- Letters O & P Week of October 31- Letters Q & R Week of November 7- Letters S & T Week of November 14- Letters U & V Week of November 21- No classes Week of November 28- Letters W & X Week of December 5- Letters Y & Z Week of December 12- Letters A & E (version 2) This class is inclusive, so learners of all abilities are welcome to join. Hello families! My name Heidi and I love learning. I have a passion to help and guide others to find joy in learning. With over 17 years teaching experience at all levels (Prek-12), my goal for every class is to bring the fun from the classroom to your learner's device!
With over 5 years of online teaching experience, I enjoy finding new ways to make virtual learning fun! I offer a variety of educational classes for learners ages 3-12. In each class, learners will have the opportunity to learn, apply, and expand learning during class. All of my classes are open to learners of all abilities. Outside of work, I am happily married and have two amazing kids (8 and 10) and a crazy dog! 🐾 We are a homeschool family (and enjoy taking advantage of the many classes that Outschool offers). I enjoy baking, designing on Procreate, crafting, and being outdoors with my family!
