Welcome to Digital Animation and Storytelling, an exciting program that empowers kids in grades 4-10 to unleash their creativity and turn their ideas into animated stories. Our 5-day, 3-hour long class meetings will introduce students to the fundamental techniques of animation, providing them with the skills to bring their characters to life and tell their stories through movement. - Learn to design unique characters to animate
- Create a storyboard to guide your animation project
- Draw characters with the intention of animating them
- Design and implement an animated story
- Create backgrounds and environments that for your animation
- Demonstrate understanding of concepts like key frames and time lines
Teachers have at least 2 years teaching experience
Students will need to have an iPad and have the Procreate Dreams app and a stylus or an Apple Pencil. You will need to purchase the app for $19.99
