Is your child a struggling reader or just needing some brush up? This is the class for you. We will be reviewing vowel sounds and the rules they follow using interactive games, singing songs, writing and reading. This class includes "Wiggle Breaks" to get our brains moving, reading circles and fun characters to help us practice our skills. In this class learners will improve their recognition of vowels and vowel sounds. Learners will demonstrate their knowledge through singing, writing, reading and playing games.
Students will need a bin/box with the following supplies available at each class: white board, 2 white board markers, white board eraser (a sock works), 2 pencils with erasers, 3 X 5 cards, 2 sentence strips or paper that an adult has "cut" into 22 X 3 inch strips (these may be purchased and taped together for length, or cut copy paper to size and tape together for length), child proof scissors, 2 large slide-lock baggies.
