Learn some amazing dolphin facts during this class. How do they communicate? What do they eat? How fast can they swim? Why are they so 'friendly'? And much more! We will go over basic dolphin facts, watch an amazing short video, learn about why biologists tag them to study and more. The first part of the class will be basic dolphin anatomy taught by using a book. Then we will watch a short video discussing echolocation and how that helps our dolphin friends eat, hunt and communicate. At the end of the class, we will work together to label each part of a dolphin as we draw one!
學習目標
Students will learn about echolocation; dolphin anatomy as well as the history and evolution of a dolphin. We will discuss a dolphins life expectancy, how they communicate with each other, what they eat and more! I will keep the students engaged by encouraging open communication, using video guides and photos and books! The last part of the class will be a short video about why biologists tag dolphins. We will end class by learning how to draw one!
