In this one time 30 min class we will be learning all about the rocks made from other rocks: clastic sedimentary rocks. We will discuss how they form, the different types of clastic rocks, where they come from, and why they are important. We will also learn how to identify different clastic rocks through their grain size and the types of minerals they are made of. Learners will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss amongst themselves about the different types of rocks they have seen....
- Students will learn about clastic sedimentary rocks, how they form and what makes them special.
I have both an Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Earth Science, with a focus on paleontology and have worked as both a tour guide and researcher for a UNESCO world heritage site.
