We will learn about blood and the smaller cells that make it up. We will study red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. In class, we will learn what the the blood cells look like under a microscope and each of their functions. This class is a great extension of my class about the human heart. I am a Certified Child Life Specialist and have experience working with children and teens in the hospital setting. As part of of my Bachelors Degree I, I studied Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Disease Processes.
