Learners will discover what slope means in a linear function and how to calculate it from an equation, a table, and a graph.
Ms. Brooks holds a Master’s degree in education, is licensed to teach high school math in her home state and has over four years of experience teaching math to eighth, ninth and tenth graders.
All students will receive a guided notes file and “cheat sheet” which can be used in the regular math class or printed as a poster to keep concepts front of mind.
