After a long day of school weather it is in the classroom or at home who doesn't love to enjoy a nice baked cookie. In this 4 week flex class we will be reading recipes and making delicious cookies. Students do not need prior knowledge for this class they just need to want to make cookies! Class videos will be posted each Monday you will have the week to complete your cookies. I will send the recipe a week before each class so you have time to get all of the ingredient. Here is what we...
The learning goals for this class is that the students can learn the basics of reading a recipe, become independent, and confident in their baking skills. Since they are share and encouraging others this will add to their confidence and pride in their work.
My mom taught baking classes and I was lucky enough to learn from her great baking skills. I have catered many different events using the recipes that I will be teaching your child. I have also taught children 8 - 18 how to make these recipes for over 6 years.
They will need an oven, mixer (hand or stand), measuring spoons, measuring cups, spatula, mixing spoon, turner, hot pad, pot, rectangle cake sheet, cookie sheet, knife, plate, and butter knife. Every week before the lesson I will be sending out the recipe we will be using the following week so that you will have time to get the ingredients.
