In this class, will be examining the rich history of African Kingdoms and Empires in West, East, South and Central Africa. Africa had thriving Empires before colonization as far back as 300CE that traded with each other. Communities and socities were organized with well defined professions and judicial systems. They learned how to smelt iron to make agricultural tools which increased food production and weapons for protection. Topics will include, - Geographical Location of each Empire. -...
Have a deeper understanding and appreciation of African History and culture.
Class taught by an African teacher who has first hand expertise and experience in African History, Customs and Culture. He holds a Masters in African Studies.
