In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to add and subtraction fractions, whole numbers, and mixed numbers. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visuals and multiplication conversion to create equivalent fractions will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a good knowledge of multiplication and basic fraction knowledge before attending this class. Please schedule carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years.
