Join Nicole on this fun Sloth painting in this 1 time class! Nicole will teach this fun class live in her studio. Students will create a painting of a Sleepy Sloth! We will use acrylic paints and brushes to create this painting on canvas or acrylic paper. While painting, we will learn fun art facts! We will do a quick check of the supplies and then start the painting step by step working on the sketch of our Sloth and branch, then we will paint our base layer, last we will add the details....
Students will improve their understanding of mixing paints to get the desired color. Students will improve their brush stroke techniques to get the desired textured look.
1. Canvas or Acrylic paper (Your desired size- 8X10, 11x14) 2.Acrylic Paint: Red, Yellow, Blue, Brown, Black, and White 3.painting brushes – I thick, 1 medium, I thin. 4. Palette(a paper plate will do), paper towel and cup of water 5. Pencil or Charcoal pencil
