Painting clouds has never been easier! This one-time class will simplify how to paint realistic clouds using acrylic paints. 

Students will learn and practice painting techniques to add form to their clouds. Topics we will cover will be…
- Color Theory: Mixing colors
- Brush Techniques
- Layering Values

Below you will find a summary of what our lesson will look like.
Welcome: We will begin the class with a round of introductions. 
I Do: Mrs. Ahni will lead a discussion with students on Color Theory. 
We Do/You Do: Mrs. Ahni will guide students in mixing colors. Students will follow Mrs. Ahni step by step in painting the background using a blending technique. They will then follow in painting the clouds using brush techniques and color values. 
Closing: Students will reflect on their painting by sharing a Glow and a Grow about their work.

The class is student centered meaning that kids will have the opportunity to participate throughout the entire lesson via lesson discussion, showing thumbs up/down, checking for understanding, sharing their work, asking the teacher for feedback, etc.

No experience is necessary.
