This one day class will help a common problem young readers have - the dreaded run-on sentence. Often young writers tend to put two sentences together or join sentences with commas.  In this class, students will overcome this tendency through watching a video, practicing writing sentences based on a prompt and finally reviewing with IXL lessons.  By the time this class ends, students will be more aware of run-on sentences and how to eliminate them. They will also have a better understanding of simple and complex sentences.
