Learners love Gimkit. Gimkit is a free, web-based learning tool that combines game show elements with independent study. This course will feature three hundred vocabulary words for learners to master. Each week we will add twenty five more words. Learners will need to join the Academic Arcade class listed in the classroom post. Although this course will build, with twenty five new words each week, late enrollment is ok. A practice link for each week will be provided.

I love teaching and I am a licensed English and Social Studies teacher teacher with over fifteen years of classroom experience, including online. I am also certified in TESOL and TEFL with over ten years of experience teaching English to non native speakers. My goal as an Outschool teacher is to provide high quality, one on one and small group instruction. I believe teaching and learning should be fun and the foundation of a quality education lies in building relationships with others and the world around us. I want to go beyond teaching a class and establish a classroom community where like a tree with strong roots, my students can learn and grow to be grounded and well rounded. I offer one on one English Speaking Practice, Poetry Courses, and many more.
Dear Outschool Families,
I am writing to inform you of a necessary temporary modification to my teaching schedule. Due to recent health considerations, I will need to adjust my availability to EST morning hours only. This change will allow me to provide the highest quality instruction while managing my health effectively.
I have found that my energy and focus are optimal during the morning hours, which will enable me to continue delivering the engaging and effective instruction that my students deserve. While I anticipate this schedule modification to be temporary, I want to be transparent about this change to allow for appropriate planning.
I deeply value my role as an Outschool instructor and understand that this schedule change may require some students to seek alternative arrangements. Outschool has many talented educators who may be able to accommodate students who require different time slots. I am happy to assist in ensuring a smooth transition for any affected students.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this period. I remain committed to providing excellent educational experiences for our students and look forward to continuing my work with Outschool.
