This is an on-going course that focuses on building phonics skills. Your child will have the opportunity to learn by watching and practicing. There will be various read alouds, informational videos, songs, and hands on activities that your child will engage in. Schedule by week: Jan. 3 ~ Short Vowels Jan. 10 ~ Beginning Blends Jan. 17 ~ Glued Sounds am, an, all Jan. 24 ~ Digraphs ch, sh, Jan. 31 ~ Digraphs th, wh Feb. 7 ~ Digraphs ph, -ck Feb. 14 ~ L Ending Blends Feb. 21 ~ R Ending...
Students will learn and practice different sounds that phonemes make. They will be able to build, manipulate, write and read words based off of the sounds taught. Students will be able to rhyme and break words into syllables.
