Have you ever wondered about where the President lives and works? How many rooms are in the White House? How many bathrooms are there? Has the White House always had the same name? What is the situation room? What animals have lived in the White House? Welcome to the White House! In this introductory class we will explore one of the famous symbols of America. We will learn about the history of the White House, take a tour inside, and learn fun facts about the President's home and workplace. Please Note- This class is geared towards the interests and wonderings of younger learners (ages 5-8). Facts and visuals will be shared as we discuss this famous historical building. Political discussions will not take place during this class.

Hello! Welcome to my Outschool classroom! I have been teaching in the classroom for 15 years, and have experience teaching students in grades K-5 in both general education and special education settings.
