每週 1-2 小時. These classes will be taught differently based on the needs of the student. For repeat students, it's important to know that the best learning will come when the student spends the time to make their own game. Therefore, my only requirement is that the student spends at least some time on their own between meetings in order to practice and implement any skills and techniques we develop and discuss. These one on one courses are for any student at any level. Every game is different and every student is different, so these courses will be uniquely tailored to each student's needs. Making your own video game is incredibly rewarding but also challenging. We start by assessing a student's goals, familiarity with basic computer skills and knowledge of Roblox. We start off by getting to know what kind of game they want to make, and if they don't know yet that's ok too. From there, we enter the gaming creation universe using tools that cater to both new and experienced coders. We do this one step at a time using and editing game models (using Blender), coding (using the LUA langauge), and Roblox Studios Animation Editor. The instructor created numerous games and gaming add ons, has taught several hundred young game designers, and can provide the skills needed to make a student's own dream game `Come Alive.'

Learn every step of making your own dream Roblox game from sounds, animations, graphics, earning currency, game goals, and of course, most of these goals involve scripting.

Absolutely, I understand the importance of ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience for all students. Throughout the class, I'm dedicated to maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
Regarding content, I focus on guiding students to create within the Roblox platform using appropriate materials and elements. While the class doesn't directly delve into content that could be upsetting or scary, I encourage students to explore their own games and gain inspiration from a variety of sources. I believe that playing other games can be a valuable source of inspiration for young game designers.
It's worth mentioning that while some parents might have concerns about video game play, allowing students to play other games can actually foster creativity and critical thinking. Gaining insight from various games can help them develop their own unique ideas and approaches to game design. Ultimately, the class aims to strike a balance between fostering creativity and respecting individual preferences.
Please rest assured that my aim is to provide engaging and educational activities that prioritize safety and creativity. In terms of third-party tools, we primarily utilize Roblox Studio for our activities. This platform allows students to design, create, and develop their own games directly within a controlled environment. No additional accounts or external tools are required.

A basic knowledge of Scratch would prove useful, but it is not required. Please have Roblox Studio downloaded and ready to go on your PC or MAC computer. Also please have the Zoom app on this same computer so I can help the student.
