For centuries, mystical creatures of all description were gathered to a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction. The sanctuary survives today as one of the last strongholds of true magic in a cynical world. Enchanting? Absolutely. Exciting? You bet. Safe? Well actually, quite the opposite..... In this class, learners will read 3-4 chapters of Fablehaven by Brandon Mull each week. In class, we will discuss what we read. I will guide them through some comprehension...
Students will improve their reading and ELA skills.

Fablehaven is fantasy and does have villains and some scary magical creatures. It may be too scary for some learners.
