In this class students will work on 6th grade level math concepts. Students will learn or review math concepts such as: Week 6 April 22 - 26 Decimal & Rational Numbers Week 7 May 6 - 10 Multi-digit Computation Week 8 May 13 - 17 Algebraic Expressions Week 9 May 20 - 24 Equations Week 10 May 27 - 31 Inequalities Week 11 June 3 - 7 Variables & Relationships Week 12 June 10 - 14 Coordinate Planes & Nets Week 13 June 17 - 21 Area & Volume of Shapes Week 14 June 24...
I am an engineer with 18 years experience as a STEM professional. I really enjoy teaching STEM topics such as math and science and passing on the passion of those topics to the next generation. I have also been a tutor for more than 20 years working with students from elementary level to college level. Math & science have real-life applications and I enjoy showing students how those concepts apply in real life.
STEMworks started out of a passion to teach students that are passionate about learning STEM.
