五年級冬季第二季數學|我們都可以成為數學家！第三季

Welcome to fifth grade math! This series of 4 classes (Fall, Winter I, Winter  II, & Spring,) can be used as your student's sole math course for their year or as a supplement to another math class or curriculum. Students should have successfully completed a fourth grade math course. 

We will work through the Singapore Math Curriculum which is aligned with the Common Core math standards. In addition to Singapore Math, this class will utilize other activities and strategies to teach math such as number talks to improve student number sense, lots of games, and some hands on projects. This class is very interactive providing students plenty of opportunities to talk with me and with partners/groups. Teachers will guide student learning to meet each student where they are at and differentiate their learning. 

Our classes become small families. It is important for students to come to class on time, ready to participate, with their cameras on and limited distractions around them.
