I have 20+ years teaching math. I have taught K5 all the way up to High School Algebra II. I love math and want to share my passion and ignite this love for math in your student. My approach is traditional and I teach using the Singapore Math method (specifically use Singapore Dimensions as a resource for my lessons). Mental Math and word problem practice are incorporated into lessons and help your child to become critical thinkers. We also have FUN! I incorporate number games, critical thinking games and other fun activities to keep students interested. This is an ongoing class, but each week is a new topic and you can jump in or jump out as necessary. We try to also have a little get to know you activity each week so students who come to each session can get to know each other a little and use social skills. I believe that learning Math is 90% confidence and attitude so believing you can = the ability to do. This is what I hope to instill in your learner. I look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy this class. This class is also offered as a multi-day class with fixed semesters if you prefer that type of class.

Holidays:
All class sessions will be cancelled on Memorial Day (US) and Labor Day (US). Refunds will be issued at the beginning of the week. Class sessions will be held the remainder of those weeks.

For 2023-
The following dates we will not meet:  November 20-24, December 25-29, January 1-5, Accounts will not be charged for these dates.

Optional practice worksheet will be uploaded following each class for extra practice of each skill. Recordings will not be provided due to the ongoing nature of this class.
