This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice vocabulary concepts typically taught in fourth grade, specifically in regards to prefixes and suffixes. Learners will be given guided practice opportunities to identify bases, prefixes and suffixes within words and to determine meaning of words with specific suffixes and prefixes. They will then be given the opportunity to apply their learning to parts of speech, analogies, and sentences. Please refer to the syllabus for more details about the schedule of concepts for this class.
