Video instructions will be clear and logical to walk learners through the steps to create a simplified Monet painting. Each student will be able to watch the video instruction on their own schedule. Students will Learn: The basics of Acrylic paint The basics of mixing paint How to cover the canvas and get comfortable with blending Strengthen their "Power of Observation" Brush pressure when applying paint Accepting where their creative skill are in the moment Encouraged to take "Progress photos" of their creations Remembering to breathe when painting and/or doing something challenging Finding & stating the positives of their work each week
Lovejoy has over 15 years of experience helping beginner painters gain confidence as well as encourage creativity for a balanced life. She Teaches online via Youtube and her own school, as well as various platforms like outschool. She also teaches classes and creative team-building events in San Diego, CA. When not teaching Lovejoy is working on her artwork and commissions.

Creativity is a very personalized process, I encourage my students to take "Progress photos" so that when done, they can look back at how they transformed a black canvas into a painting. These photos are a great visual documentation of their learning. In a year or 5 years, they can look back at their photos and realize how far their skills have come.
