THIS COURSE IS FOR STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED THE 2ND SEMESTER! Please do not sign up your student who would struggle with instructions in German! If you are not sure if that is the correct level for your student please contact me for a consultation. Let's continue learning German with Willi the Frog, Dixi and the Schlaumeier in "Das neue Deutschmobil 2". In the 3rd semester we will be covering grammar, listening and reading strategies, increasing writing and conversational skills and expanding our German vocabulary. Everyone will be interacting with the Teacher and the other students via Zoom meeting. We will be using the “Das neue Deutschmobil 2” Lehrbuch and Arbeitsbuch by Klett. This course includes a lot of engagements, practice and interaction. Homework is a necessary part of learning a language! I will be sending homework home weekly and a test will be send home after each Chapter/Lektion. Homework assignments include: worksheets in the Workbook, Vocabulary practice on Quizlet and Blooket, Grammar practice on Conjuguemos and Tests being send home. This course prepares the student for the “Fit in Deutsch 2” exam ( I do not give this exam, Goethe Institut does) . Note: For the class to take place it needs at least 4 students. All students need to have their camera on during class.

Students will learn about Insel Rügen, Störtebeker festivals, Pirates, reading maps, Vikings and Dragon ship. They will practice giving and asking for directions. As well they will complete sentences by listening, reading advertisements and answering questions. In grammar they will continue practicing the simply past tense ( Präteritum), conjugating of modal verbs, dependent clauses with als, immer und wenn, sentence structure with independent and dependent clauses and practice writing a story 55 分鐘線上直播課

Student must have completed an A1 course, be able to hold conversations and can conjugate verbs in present tense, simple past tense and perfect tense.
