I am a 3rd grade teacher during the school year.
I see students struggling with the basic math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
In this summer class designed for students entering 3rd grade, or students who just completed 3rd and would like, to practice their basic math facts before 4th grade.


We will introduce the following concepts at the pace of the group.  No student is expected to memorize or know any of the topics, just be open to an introduction of the skills or a review if you covered this in 3rd!
Introduce multiplication strategies and facts 1-12
Introduce division strategies and facts 1-12
Introduce word problems involving 4 operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division)
Introduce order of operations
Introduce data and probability
Introduce fractions
