課堂經歷
To start, we will look briefly at common 2-D shapes and listen to a 2-D shape song. We will then look at the differences between 2-D and 3-D shapes. Children will learn to identify and name 3-D shapes, including the cone, sphere, pyramid, cylinder, cube, triangular prism and cuboid. We will look at the features of 3-D shapes and begin to learn what faces, vertices, and edges are. They will have fun thinking about the shapes that they see in the environment every day. We will look at pictures of real life objects, and the children will see if they can find and name the 3-D shapes within the pictures.

Hello and welcome to Outschool! My name is Vicky, and I am so excited to meet your student(s)! I am a certified British teacher with thirteen years of classroom experience. I was awarded the Postgraduate Certificate of Education for Primary years from Lancaster University, and I also have a TEFL qualification and B.A. (Hons) in Combined Arts. I’ve been fortunate to teach children in schools in England, Thailand and at an international school in South Korea. I have taught all core and foundation curriculum subjects for age three to eleven; including math, English, science, ICT, D&T, art, music, P.E., social and emotional health, history, geography and French. In addition, I have taught English as an additional language and taught private lessons online, which has taught me how to engage students in a virtual setting. I am very experienced in accommodating the needs of all students and making learning fun. Every student can learn, and I believe we all learn in different ways.
