Second grade Science is very interesting and fun for students! This ongoing class is similar to my semester class, except this class will meet twice each week, instead of three times per week. The class will include a mixture of S.T.E.M., Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. We will even learn about people and careers in Science! This class will provide hands-on activities, such as drawing, experiments, and other projects. Required supplies: ruler that measures both inches and centimeters, scissors, paper, pencils, colored pencils or crayons, student write-in textbook The ISBN # for the book is 978-0-544-77838-2 (2017). The book is a great price and can be found on Amazon at this link: https://a.co/d/agoc6Sr Optional supplies: food coloring, 3 jars, tape measure, balance, thermometer, measuring cup, hand lens There is a write-in student edition book of Science Fusion, that you may purchase for your child. I have acquired permission from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to use Science Fusion, Grade 2, for use in my online Outschool class. We will cover all of the pages in the book, except the Inquiry Flipchart pages. This class is appropriate for English levels CEFR: A2, B1.

My mission is to enrich your learner's Spanish with classes taught 100% in Spanish that will boost confidence and solidify their Spanish reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Spanish Classes:
I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced Spanish. Lessons are thematic. They contain vocabulary, incidental grammar, and a communicative component all throughout the lesson. Beginner learners will learn to form sentences in class.
1-on-1 Tutoring Language Classes:
One-on-one Spanish classes are ideal to work at the student’s pace and build confidence. Lessons are designed to meet the student’s needs and strengths.
Classes are 30 minutes.
Education Background:
I have a bachelors degree in Counseling Psychology, a Post-Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education, followed by a Masters Degree in TESOL from Michigan State University. I have taught students of all ages from toddlers to adults. My classes are characterized by being dynamic with music, reading, and talking.
ESL - EFL English as a Second Language Classes:
I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced English classes. Lessons can be about books, specific grammar questions / exercises. I also teach advanced conversation classes. These classes start out with a prompt or theme followed by questions to guide the conversation. Learners are welcome to share their ideas, ask questions, and interact with other learners.
Classes are 25 minutes.
