This 2nd grade phonics and spelling class is perfect for learners around the 1st-3rd grade levels who need some extra practice in phonics. We will be exploring a different spelling pattern each week, focusing on digraphs, blends, different syllable types, and some vowel teams. The classes will be structured as teacher led lessons, with time for student interaction and responses throughout. Students will interact to answer questions through the teacher-presented slides. They will also have time at the end of the 2nd lesson of each week to write some words independently with the presented phonics pattern.

Students will be able to recognize, read, and accurately spell words with various 2nd-grade level phonics patterns, demonstrating improved literacy skills through engaging, evidence-based practices.
