It's not hard to scam young people, or anyone for that matter. They tend to be inexperienced, have trusting natures, and often want to fit in, making them ripe pickings for fraudsters and scam artists, who know just how to take advantage of young people. Here are common scams that target young people while travelling. Given that kids of all ages virtually live and interact online, it's no surprise that the internet is the optimal environment for many of them. This class will cover: Scams that target young people abound, especially in their favourite habitat—the internet. Fraudsters use social media to trick tweens and teens into providing personal information, which can be used for identity theft. Many scams take the form of goods for amazingly cheap prices—goods that never arrive. Other scams involve contests and offers that require the young person to pay some sort of fee or deposit. Yet another trick is to lure young people with "free" services for cell phones that actually incur a monthly charge. Many other common travel scams. Please note: *If you do not see a time or date listed for a class that interests you, please message me with a few possible dates and times, and I will do my best to offer a session that will work for your schedule. *Please be aware I try to teach all of my classes, to at least 2 students as I feel it provides a better teaching and learning experience. If the minimum amount of students is not reached 24 hours before the start of the course, students will be moved to the next available section at a similar time. *Once a learner has been verified per OS policy, this is a camera optional class. *For parents/families who feel their child would benefit from this course, but their budget does not allow for it, I do offer a number of discounts for families of lower income. Please message me with the course, dates and times you are interested in to learn more about the discounts I might be able to offer. *This class is covered by the "Happiness Guarantee". If you are not happy after the class, Outschool will refund you 100% of the class fee.

Scams can really negatively affect the person who has been tricked. It can be hard talking about this issue if it has happened to you or someone close to you. It doesn't matter how intelligent you are, anyone can fall for these tricks. I will cover the emotional affect it can have on a person which might be worrying to some.

While doing his computer science degree, Johnathan took classes on hacking and technology scams. This class was designed to look at this growing issue in the technology world and how we could protect and stop it happening to the average person. He even spent time as a "White Hat Hacker" to help local companies look at the weaknesses of computer systems they had been using to stop bad hackers from taking advantage. Learning to be a professional magician ment he had to learn how to pickpocket, trick and con people for entertainment reasons only. This "magic" training has taught him the details of mastering deception and misdirection. His father is also a policeman for 40 years and has helped in training Jo for this class topic from a policemans point of view.
Johnathan has been a martial arts expert since the age of 6. From the age of 16 he worked with various circus teams where he learned many skills. He has travelled the world performing for audiences including Formula 1 events, royalty and international superstars. He is a fully insured fire and magic performer with many skills including bubbleology, staff spinning, juggling and stilt walking, to name but a few. He also teaches these other skills if your interested in those classes.
As a serial entrepreneur who founded three successful companies before the age of 30, my drive to succeed in life began in my teens when he realised the power of positive motivation.
