Hola! Learning should be a fun experience and getting to know a new language is always exciting. The student will learn introductory basics of the Spanish language by means of videos, dancing, games and interactive conversation, but also to start using Spanish in their everyday life. This class will be adjusted and catered to the unique needs of each student. My goal is to spark the interest of my students to fall in love with learning Spanish. No experience is required for this Spanish class. They will learn: - Colors - ABCs - Animals - Numbers - Feelings - Me gusta ... - ¿Como se dice? This will be a highly-engaged class. Students will have opportunities to attempt saying phrases being taught. Interactive games, music videos and dancing moves will be used to teach about Hispanic culture.
學習目標
Students will be able to hold a basic to advance conversation in Spanish. Students will be able to learn numbers, colors, ABCs, and animals. Also, the students will learn common dance moves inspired from Hispanic countries.

¡Hola a todos! Hello Everyone!
I was born in the beautiful historic and coastal city of Cartagena, Colombia, in South America. At the age of 12, my family moved to the United States and we lived in Miami, Florida. It was there that I learned the beautiful english language, but was also introduced to the wonderful variety of different hispanic cultures, such as the Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Venezuelan, Panamanian, Mexican cultures and many, many more.
For the past ten years, I have been working with less-fortunate young ones, from the age of 2 up to 18, helping them learn how to read and write in both english and spanish. I helped them to deal with their personal issues and manage their personal health. This has helped me immensely in learning that each child is different, and so he or she learns at a different pace, therefore each child requires and deserves patience from a teacher.
As regards to myself, I am a very happy person and full of energy. I love to encourage and commend my students often so that they feel motivated to keep improving. It is my belief that the teacher must love what they are teaching and I absolutely love teaching my native language, Spanish. I am a dedicated teacher and I really put my heart into my work.
But that same belief extends to my students. I believe for them to be able to truly learn and excel at anything, they must first be passionate about it. My classes are designed to spark the interest in a student to want to learn more, to become passionate about learning spanish.
As my father was a spanish professor, he instilled in me the value of learning proper grammar and pronunciation in the spanish language. In so doing, it has helped me to reflect the same in my students.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy many other hobbies. For example, I love make-up and cosmetology. In the past, I have worked with MAC, which is a major company in the cosmetology industry. I love music and I absolutely love to dance. In fact, I met my husband at a salsa dancing class. Poetry is another of my passions and I have been writing poems since the age of 7. Additionally, I am a certified hair-stylist and massage therapist and really enjoy helping others.
