I am a certified elementary school teacher (K-6). I have been in education for 15 years. I started my career as a behavior technician in a school focused on the education of students with autism. I then moved to a public school where I taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I am currently working as an instructional technology coach (working with teachers and students K-12) in the same public school district. I have my Bachelors degree in sociology and elementary education. My Masters degree is in classroom technology. I have been an ESL teacher on a digital platform for three years to support students with English vocabulary, reading, math and fluency.
It is always helpful to have paper and pencil or a whiteboard and marker should always be available for student use during tutoring sessions.
