For this course, the main objective is to review and practice foundational skills that will be needed for high-school level Algebra 1. The learner should have just finished either 8th grade math or a pre-algebra course and is scheduled to take Algebra 1 in the next school year. The 1:1 format allows me to spend less time on skills the learner has already mastered and maintained, and more time on concepts that the learner needs more instruction and/or practice with.
