I will focus on your learner's needs and what skills they need to improve on most for the test. Please message me before class detailing what skill set (speaking, listening, reading or writing) you would like the lessons to cover, and I will prepare exam preparation material for your child. What is your teaching approach? My approach with learners is very patient and kind. I emphasize positive reinforcement as much as possible and let the students know that their hard work is paying off. Throughout the class, students receive lots of praise—words like "Good work! You're doing great! Excellent job!"—to keep them motivated and confident in their progress. What is your expertise? I have lots of experience teaching international students (Chinese, Russian, Korean) and have been doing so for the past six years. I've taught students between the age ranges of 3-13 in the past. ESL companies I have worked for include: Qkids and Bilingval. In total I've taught over 1000+ classes online. I also hold a 120 hour TESOL certification.

Hello All! My name's Amy, and I'm very happy to learn with you!
I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and also hold a 120 hour TESOL certification. For the past six years, I've taught ESL (English as a second language) online to Chinese, Korean and European students. I've worked with a variety of age groups, which range from 3-13 years old. In total I've taught 1000+ classes online! Along with my industrial lab experience, I am truly a jack of all trades.
I believe that learning should be fun and my lessons are very interactive. I make most of my ESL lesson materials via Google slides and powerpoint. In my classes, you will find popular children's characters from Minecraft, Pokemon, Super Mario, Paw Patrol and much more! When a child is engaged and interested in the topic at hand, they will be motivated to pursue their education.
Being a scientist, curiosity as well as the need for discovery are in my nature. While educating, I like to incorporate these key attributes into each lesson I teach, and help all my students grow in their pursuit of learning. During this journey, I hope to learn as much as I can about each individual I teach, and how I can make the learning experience rewarding for each party at hand. As a student myself once, I know it can be difficult learning something new. Hopefully, I can ease that burden and make the experience as enjoyable as possible!
