In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to practice geometry skills and concepts typically taught in seventh grade. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes that involve geometry to work on together. Concepts and skills can include any of the following: •Circumference and Area of Circles •Surface Area of Cubes, Prisms, Pyramids, and Cylinders •Volume of Cubes, Prisms, Pyramids, and Cylinders •Classifying Lines, Angles, and Polygons •Perimeter and Area of Quadrilaterals, Triangles, and Compound Figures •Scale Drawings and Scale Factor Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years.
