In this class, learners will be given guided practice problems to practice skills and concepts typically taught in the fifth grade Math Expressions curriculum. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Math Expressions curriculum materials will not be provided in this class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes to work on together.  

Concepts and skills can include any of the following:
•Unit 1: Adding and Subtracting Fractions and Mixed Numbers with Unlike Denominators
•Unit 2: Adding and Subtracting Decimals
•Unit 3: Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers
•Unit 4: Multiplication with Decimals
•Unit 5: Division with Decimals
•Unit 6: Word Problems
•Unit 7: Order of Operations and Coordinate Plane
•Unit 8: Measurement and Geometry
