In this class, students will receive individualized support with English Language Arts homework and any skills that they might be struggling with academically. These standards and skills may include grammar, reading comprehension,  literary analysis, character analysis, figurative language, narrative elements, text structure, argumentative writing, informational writing, and narrative writing.

In order to best serve your learner, I ask that parents share important details about their child and the specific skills or standards they need assistance with. For example, if there is a homework assignment the parent would like for me to help their child with, it would be extremely helpful if a copy of the document or a description of it was uploaded to our Outschool classroom prior to the beginning of class.  As a certified Language Arts teacher, I take pride in creating positive relationships with my scholars. I enjoy having meaningful discussions that ultimately lead students to having a thorough understanding of the material.
