- 1:1 Student-to-teacher ratio, the student has the teacher’s full attention
- Get to know each other using questions and answers in English
- Talk about topics of interest
- Homework help
- Work on a specific skill (reading, writing, listening, speaking)
- Help with pronunciation 
- Teacher can read stories to the student to support fluency skills
- Build confidence
- Take the class as many times as they like! 

For younger students or ESL/EFL beginners, we can start with story time (student listening to the teacher), phonics, simple questions, and phrases.

If I don’t have a time that fits your schedule, please message me and we can find a time that works for everyone.

I create an encouraging, safe learning environment so that the students feel comfortable using their English skills with me. It is helpful to learn with someone outside of their usual schooling, to build confidence to participate in everyday English classes. 

I can use slideshows, games, activities, and books to support our lessons, or we can just have a free conversation about everyday topics. When booking a time, please let me know what your students would like to focus on in our sessions. It is also helpful to know their current English proficiency level (e.g. CEFR level or general comment about their fluency).
