This 1-1 class provides a highly individualized learning setting for young musicians. Our team of skilled and committed piano instructors offer our students a comprehensive and project-based learning environment, where students can gain a strong foundation (as they would in traditional lesson settings), and experience music coming to life through opportunities to compose, write, and even produce their own music! Students will learn to express themselves authentically on their instrument. They will have an empowered foundation on piano that allows them to learn any song they wish, as well as the skills to compose and produce their own music, if interested.
Teachers: Georgia English Founder/Educator/Director Georgia has had the privilege of teaching thousands children and teens music over the past decade as a private instructor, community music teacher, and teaching artist. She is an active working musician in Pittsburgh, has recorded three full-length albums, and makes visual art. She graduated from Berklee College of Music with honors in 2014, with a BA in songwriting, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Music Therapy at Duquesne University to better inform the mental-health supporting elements of the You Be You curriculum.
