即將入學的工程系學生的 1-1 微積分：粉碎大學一年級！

In this course we will cover the basics of calculus (math). This course will cover about 1/2 of the content in a first year Calculus college course in an Engineering or STEM program. Students entering a STEM college program will benefit from taking this course! It will equip students with strong foundations required to tackle first year of college. 

This course assumes knowledge of (11th grade level). 

We will cover the following topics:

- Slope of a secant/tangent
- Limits
- Derivatives
- Product Rule
- Quotient Rule
- Chain Rule
- Implicit derivatives
- Application of derivatives 
- Word Problems
- Equation of a tangent line
- Related Rates
- Recap of solving equations (linear, quadratic, exponential, sinusoidal)


Each class will include:
* 5 - 10 minute recap/homework review/questions
* 30 minute interactive lecture where students will learn the concepts
* 15 - 20 minute of working time 

Students may complete classwork as homework for extra practice but this is not mandatory. 

The class will include an interactive whiteboard work using Pencil Spaces delivered over Zoom. Students are expected to participate throughout the class by asking questions, taking notes, and solving questions independently!
