그룹 경험
Calling all OWL HOUSE FAN! Join our group as we discuss about all things related to the series. This group will consist of weekly conversation questions regarding specific episodes characters, and theories. Learners are encouraged to ask or pose their own questions about the series. Each week there will be a weekly challenge in the form of a quiz, fan art or fan fiction. Learners are encouraged to participate in the challenge or post words of encouragement on their peers post. ROLE AS MODERATOR: To ensure a safe and productive environment, I will be actively monitoring the asynchronous post and discussions. I will check in regularly to read and respond to discussions, guide conversations, and provide conversation questions to keep the discussion engaging. My goal is to maintain a supportive space where learners feel safe sharing their ideas and interacting with their peers.

The Owl House features characters from the LGBTQ+ community, topics related to sexual orientation and gender identity will likely be discussed during class. These discussions aim to foster understanding and inclusivity among students. I always encourage learners to speak with parents if they have further questions, as parents have the best interest of their children at heart.

가이드라인
Welcome to our Group! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.
Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included.
Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? That will not be tolerated in our group.
Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs.
Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private.
Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated.
Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered.

Hey there! I'm Mrs. Alexis, your friendly neighbor from sunny California, where the sun shines all year round!
I am thrilled to offer a wide range of classes that cater to various interests. Whether it's dynamic Spanish language instruction, engaging conversation sessions, captivating explorations of geography, or enthralling journeys through history, I take pride in providing a rich variety of educational experiences.
With a diverse range of qualifications, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. I hold a B.A. in Journalism, specializing in Media Studies, and a minor in Spanish. Additionally, I've earned two associates degrees in Social Science and Journalism, along with a TESOL certification.
My professional journey spans across diverse fields. As a reporter for my local newspaper, I had the exciting opportunity to cover local events and write a captivating historical series on intriguing places within and around my county. Furthermore, I have valuable experience as a Behavior Interventionist and Behavioral Services Supervisor, leading a dedicated team working with children diagnosed with Autism. Our focus was on helping children improve their speech, motor skills, conversation abilities, and social skills through personalized goal-setting.
Having also had the privilege of working on two ESL platforms, I have seamlessly merged my passion for media with my enthusiasm for working with children.
I firmly believe in the uniqueness of every child, recognizing their individual pace and learning style. However, I am a strong advocate for infusing fun and enjoyment into the learning process. My ultimate goal for each child who joins my courses is to empower them to think independently, leaving each session feeling inspired and confident.
On a personal note, my family and I cherish quality time spent playing games, indulging in movie marathons, cooking (with a special love for Mexican cuisine), and embarking on enriching travel adventures.
I'm genuinely thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome each and every one of you to my classroom, where learning is an exciting and joyous adventure!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Alexis
