Welcome to Common Ground: Chat & Share – an online social group designed for teens ages 12-17! This is a safe, fun, and welcoming space where you can chat, post, and share your thoughts, hobbies, and experiences with fellow teens from around the world. Whether you want to discuss your favorite shows, share creative projects, or just chat about life, this group is all about building friendships and having great conversations! All posts are moderated by a teacher to ensure a positive environment, and members are encouraged to comment on and support each other’s posts. It’s the perfect place to make new friends, express yourself, and socialize in a relaxed and friendly space. Come join the conversation! This is a place where learners will embrace differences and appreciate similarities. This group is a safe and judgement free space, where everyone's opinions are respected BULLYING ------------ * This is a judge free zone and absolutely all learners are welcome to join. * BULLYING IS NOT TOLERATED IN THIS GROUP! Any student that is seen or heard bullying will be removed from class with no refund. * Behavior issues are handled as follows: 1. A warning will be given to the student. 2. Parents will be contacted 3. Removal from the group, no refund

Students will be asked to share their interest using YouTube. Miss Brandy will closely monitor for anything inappropriate. Students will be encouraged to share usernames to social media accounts to stay connected outside of class, but will not allow students to share personal information (school name, address, phone number, city of residence, etc) while in class. Students will not need to have a YouTube account or any social media accounts to participate. Sharing of social media accounts is optional.
Miss Brandy will use Google Docs to present to the class and will allow students to create slides to show the class. Miss Brandy will not use personal students information on Google Docs or YouTube. Students will be informed that they are not use personal information.

At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy, we believe in creating a fun, inclusive learning environment that celebrates each child’s unique strengths and perspectives. Our philosophy is that every child is different, and we aim to meet each learner where they are, embracing their individuality and fostering a sense of belonging. In our classrooms, we provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where students feel valued and respected. Whether students are joining a gaming class or an academic one, our goal is to teach skills that extend beyond the classroom, building confidence and resilience. Our dedicated educators work to ensure that every learner feels seen and heard.
Miss Brandy created Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy to provide a safe, welcoming space where kids can learn, play, and connect. As a mom, she understands the importance of giving children outlets to interact with their peers and develop essential social skills. Driven by her passion for teaching, Miss Brandy set out to build an academy that blends fun with learning, using a teaching style that empowers students to come to class confident they can be themselves without judgment. Over the years, she has been fortunate to teach students from around the world, with diverse backgrounds and learning abilities, all of whom have shaped and enriched her approach.
At Miss Brandy’s Academy, each educator is truly unique and brings their own amazing strengths, insights, and enthusiasm to every class. Our team of dedicated educators is committed to making a positive impact on every child they teach, passing on a love for learning, and inspiring students to be their best selves. Here, we celebrate each child’s individuality and encourage every student to embrace their differences in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
