In this class we talk about what equality between men and women is and why it is so important, especially in the workplace, be is at school or in a business. Johnathan is a serial entrepreneur who founded three successful companies before the age of 30. He runs four companies employing a truly diverse workforce and is a passionate campaigner for equality. This makes him eminently qualified to teach this class and act as a role model for the next generation of employers. His drive to succeed in life began in his teens when he realised the power of positive motivation. He was lucky enough to have a good mentor who guided him through the intricacies of financial management which helped him to understand the value of money, how to identify and seize opportunities, how to recognise and overcome prejudice, and how to manage an investment portfolio. Johnathan holds a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science which taught him how to programme video games and the science behind making the screen time highly addictive, a requirement of the companies who make this industry. He has worked with children of all ages in the fields of sports, circus skills and business as a trainer and mentor. He has extensive experience of mentoring and counselling which he is able to apply during his classes. Johnathan has been a martial arts expert since the age of 9. From the age of 16 he worked with various circus teams where he learned many skills. He has travelled the world performing for audiences including Formula 1 events, royalty and international superstars. He is a fully insured fire performer with many skills including bubbleology, staff spinning, juggling and stilt walking, to name but a few. Johnathan also teaches conversational English to children and adults across the world.
Subjects raised in this class may be slightly sensitive to some students, especially with regard to gender inequality. We will not cover anything related to religious topics or beliefs. Examples of inequality are all drawn from real life situations. Sensitive topics will be explained clearly and without bias and any concerns around a child's safety and wellbeing will be raised with the parents immediately after class allowing them to review the secure video and handle any issues privately within the family.
