In this class, we'll learn an easy-to-use strategy to outline your writing skills. We'll take a dive into the wonderful world of Yummy Hamburger Writing and practice organizing our thoughts into an organized paper. This strategy is great for students who are just learning how to write 3-4 paragraph papers, and for students who are looking to strengthen their skills in writing longer essays. 

First, we'll discuss the qualities of a great narrative paper. We'll look at some examples of organized writing and disorganized writing. Then, we'll practice using our yummy hamburger outlines! You'll be able to practice using a topic of your choice, and you can get feedback from me as we go!

I love to include art into my lessons, so we'll have fun creating our own hamburger outlines. We'll have short discussion times throughout the lesson to give each other ideas and feedback. 

No essay-writing experience required to join this class. This lesson will be helpful to students of all experience levels!
