This class will explore the wonderful world of cartooning! Expressions and emotions bring cartoons to life and give them character. We will talk about how our cartoon is feeling and act out the emotion before sketching it out. The Expressions we will study for this class are happy, sad, angry, and excited. We will also learn different cartooning techniques in class. You may bring in a cartoon that you have created before class or create your own in class. Students can use any type of...

Mrs. Corry Studied cartooning in her vocational training and enjoys cartooning as a hobby.
Paper, any type. Some students like having a notebook or sketch pad to collect their drawings in one place. Any type of drawing utensil will work, however a regular pencil and eraser may be best so students can erase any mistakes.
Students may need a pencil sharpener if they choose to use this type of drawing material.
