In this one-time course, students will participate in a word game competition. Below is a breakdown of this course. Students will be introduced to the theme: winter fun. They will learn how to play the game. The players will be given word puzzles to solve. They will also be given a topic that the word puzzle belongs to. The students will be guessing the letters in the puzzle. Students will receive points for each letter in the puzzle. They will also receive points for correctly solving the word puzzle. Each class has several levels and the goal is to try to complete as many levels as possible during class. Students will be placed on teams to play the game. If there are not enough students to place onto teams, each student will be an individual team. Some of the word puzzle topics include favorite winter drink, winter activity, family winter fun, winter candy, and many more topics.
