수업 소개
We have all been waiting for the arrival of book 14! This class is not your typical book club! We will discuss the chapters read while creating crafts each week! The supplies are listed in the supplies section by the week. It is important your child has all the supplies in order to have the most amazing time in class. *** Please note that this is a newly released book that you will want to pre-order or pre-purchase before class. Many students will have read the book before class begins. Although not required, please understand the many students that will have read the whole book will be ready to discus it all!!!*** Week 1: Create Snowfall out of salt dough. You will have to paint after class so the dough has time to dry. Week 2: Sketch Snowfall and a landscape. Week 3: Using Perler Beads, we will create Snowfall or your favorite dragon. This will require the use of a hot iron after class! Please have parental supervision. Week 4: Paint your favorite dragon on paper or canvas. Week 5: Using chalk, you will create your favorite dragon from the book series. Week 6: Glue dragon drawing with chalk! (this week has a preparation step that will be required to complete at least 3-4 days before class.)

Materials: 1 c. flour, 1/2c. salt, 1/2 c. water, 1/2 Tbsp cream of tarter, acrylic paints and paint brushes. Week 2: Sketch Snowfall and a landscape. Materials: sketch paper, pencil, and colored pencils Week 3: Using Perler Beads, we will create Snowfall or your favorite dragon. This will require the use of a hot iron after class! Please have parental supervision. Materials: Perler beads the colors you'll need to make the dragon of your choice, perler bead peg board, perler iron paper, iron Week 4: Paint your favorite dragon on paper or canvas. Materials: paint, brushes, water, napkins, and paper/canvas Week 5: Using chalk, you will create your favorite dragon from the book series. Materials: chalk pastel sticks, black construction paper Week 6: Glue dragon drawing with chalk! Materials: chalk pastel sticks, black construction paper, glue (this week has a preparation step that will be required to complete at least 3-4 days before class.)

I enjoy the outdoors as much as I can! I enjoy fishing, hunting, and hiking. On my days off, you can usually find me somewhere in the mountains exploring. I love practicing archery with my family every week. Photography is also one of my hobbies.
Semester Courses
I teach semester-long courses in writing from first grade to high school. Literature classes are also on my semester calendar which will include books such as Romeo & Juliet, 1984, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fahrenheit 451, The Great Gatsby and so many more. I teach reading classes for beginners and those who struggle! Strong focus on sight words, phonics, and comprehension.
Book Clubs
I also schedule book clubs all year long. This allows children worldwide to discuss their viewpoints and ideas on books we read together. I have a ton of book clubs on the Wings of Fire series, Percy Jackson series, The Hobbit, and hundreds of other books.
Summer Camps
Summer camps are held M- Th in the morning hours MST.
Early Readers
Students will enjoy the Magic Treehouse and Merlin Missions series and week-long crafts created using details from what they read.
Writing
Two-week writing camps will be offered.
Early reading classes, middle school and high school literature classes, and book clubs will also be offered all summer long!리뷰
